April 22nd-Early out
May 3rd- Morning trip to the farm
This week:
We reviewed goods and services and the importance of saving money and spending it wisely. We read stories about kids that did not always use good judgement when it came to spending money. We also played a kids version of Life. They earned money and experienced losing it or spending it on necessities.
In math, we focused on adding tens to a any number. For example 18+10= 28. We used the hundred chart to help us with this task.
The wrote stories about what kind of business they would have to sell goods or services.
Next week:
Sight words: know most thing very love
We will be learning about animals and their offspring. We will review adaptations and how animals and plants depend on each other to survive.
The zoo will be bringing animals on April 22nd!
In math, we will continue to work on adding tens to numbers.
