Snack

Starting Monday, please have your child bring their own snack for snack time. Thank you and if you have any questions please let me know.

This Week:

We have had a great first 2 days. We met new friends and learned new things about each other. They wrote their numbers and found letters in each others names. We also learned about each other while using math.

We made Jitter Juice the first day to help us with our first day jitters!

Next week:

We will be reviewing our letters and sounds by making an ABC book about school. We will use dot cards to help us learn in math. We will be reading books about school and procedures.

If your children know these words challenge them by having them writing a sentence with a word in it.

We will be assessing the students reading skills next week and they will begin to bring home books to read each night soon.

It was so wonderful to meet you yesterday.

Here is what your child's first day will look like:

School starts at 8:30.

We will check out books from the library in the morning and get to know each other a little better.

We will have PE before recess and then lunch.

After that they get to go to art.

We will read some books have snack and then have success maker.

Our day will end at 3:20.

If your child is getting picked up at the school. I will meet you outside by the front door.
